Fernweh (pronounced like “fern-vay”) is an awesome German word that means an innate desire to travel – a longing for new experiences and places. It’s an ache to explore somewhere new or rediscover beloved places. It’s a beautiful, adventurous thing. So this is a place for me to share about my travels and the beauty I find on the journey of life. I hope you find something here to inspire you, bring back a good memory, or uplift your heart. I love finding beauty all around – whether in the grandiose vistas or the simple and ordinary. I like to discover new places, cultures, and food while making wonderful memories along the way. I love music, books, photography, and Disney – basically, I enjoy creative, imaginative things that transport you to a different world or show you the beauty in your own world.
